If you’re a chinese cuisine lover like I am then I am genuinely happy for the both of us because Paradise Dysnasty has finally landed in Manila! Eversince I saw the giant “coming soon” tarps they had plastered on the walls of S Maison, with those rainbow-looking xiao long baos prior to the opening of the restaurant, I simply couldn’t wait to dine in.
With all the holiday hustling, these past few weeks have felt like months. Although I couldn’t complain and couldn’t be more grateful that by God’s grace I’ve been fortunate to have landed a variety of work that don’t feel like work at all! One of which lead me to the grand store opening of Call it Spring in Alabang Town Center.
With my work requiring me to constantly meet new people, and always look my best both on and off camera, I always have to make sure that I’m at my most presentable from toe to tresses! I’m sure a lot of you ladies would have to agree that having the right hair color can really enhance your overall look and help boost your confidence!
It’s the most wonderful time of the year! It’s also the busiest time with all the year-end deadlines, events, Christmas celebrations, get-togethers, programs, and of course the gift-giving traditions. It’s no secret that we are simply each other’s Santas! And even I can’t help but get a little frantic in preparing the perfect presents to give to the special people around me. Good thing that I got to hit two birds with one stone at the recent Thanksgiving lunch I got to attend, hosted by FreshLook and Air Optix Philippines!
Another winning moment in my list was hearing mass at the grand St. Patrick’s Cathedral. To be honest I wasn’t so aware that NYC had such a gem of a cathedral right in its heart! I always pictured New York to be all about the new, the fast, the flashy, and the bustling, more contemporary than classical. So when we heard Sunday Mass at the cathedral, my heart simply melted. It was one of our last few days in the city, and I was so ready to be captivated by old world charm after consecutive days of living in the middle of all the hustle and bustle. Sunday mass is a must wherever we may be, and NYC was no exception! I actually look forward to hearing mass abroad because I get to really immerse myself in the Christian culture of whichever country I’m visiting. It makes the world feel even smaller than it already is.
