Parfait! It’s French Month at Sofitel Manila

Time flies when you’re having fun… especially when you’re surrounded by the company of great friends and delicious food! It’s just a lethal combination, in the greatest sense of course! I can’t believe it’s already July and that the first half of the year are now merely memories. You’ve been good to me so far, 2015. I appreciate it.

Now, let’s kick-off July with even more fun, friends, and food! Earlier this month I got invited to yet another one of Sofitel Manila’s special launches. This time, they pay homage to their French roots, culture and tradition by celebrating French month in more ways than one for the entire month of July! How exciting!

To make sure that every little detail is authentic and tres magnifique, they invited yet another culinary superstar in the name of Master Chef Matthieu Garrel from the famed Parisian restaurant Le BélisaireHe was awarded as Maitre Cuisinier de France or Master Chef of France in 2014 and his French bistro specialties are sought by gourmands around the world including former French President, Nicolas Sarkozy (Yup, the husband of one of my favorite French singers, Carla Bruni!)

Anyway, enough of the trivia and let’s go straight to the point! That point is that I cannot believe that there’s so much in store for all guests who simply wish to join in the French appreciation festivities!

From special set menus, private cooking lessons (much like the one I previously blogged about), as well as commemorating Bastille Day, featured French wine and dishes, and even outdoor recreational games like playing Pétanque are all available in Sofitel Manila until the rest of the month.
