Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF!

It was my honor to be part of this wonderful campaign once again this year. This time with my superhero costume upgrade and hosting the event with no other than Batman himself! It’s great how things have a smooth way of falling into place especially if you’re working for a good purpose.

How fitting is it that I so happen had my Catwoman costume made early for Halloween and in time for the launch of this year’s Trick or Treat for UNICEF early this October? Of all the costumes I decide to choose Catwoman and of all the other superheroes, Batman was available as well to host the event with me!

Well, it was without a doubt a treat to all the kids as well as the random passers-by. It’s not everyday you get to see people dressed as superheroes, hosting on stage.

But the real treat is that this great cause of UNICEF is getting bigger and bigger each year.
With the help of Toy Kingdom, SM Supermalls, as well as other sponsors,
a successful launch was held last October 5, in Megamall.

Kids participating in the ‘Create a Character’ contest. Their ideas were so cool and creative!
Every Halloween, UNICEF encourages everyone to help children in need while having fun in their respective Halloween festivities. With your T-O-T for UNICEF Kits, kids can go around collecting donations for the UNICEF beneficiaries as they go from door to door for their candy loot!

It’s a win-win situation for everyone!
Kids get their candy while helping out other kids and having fun and beneficiaries will receive the aid they need!

Everyone enjoyed the fun activities prepared by Toy Kingdom and UNICEF!
With Mr. Gary Valenciano, UNICEF Philippines’ Ambassador of Good Will for 15 years and counting! Such an inspiration indeed.
Seeing the children in their adorable and tiny superhero costumes was the cherry on top! Really grateful to be part of this advocacy. We can all be superheroes every Halloween by contributing to this great cause. Visit for more details in celebrating a meaningful and fun Halloween!
